Backyards and Beyond

Tells the stories of those putting their lives back together post-Katrina.  Artist H. C. Porter did the photos for later paintings, and collaborator Karole Sessums recorded the voices of those being photographed.  This book contains the artwork and a small segment of the interviews.  There is a website listed in the book at which you can hear the interviews.
